"Don't count the time, do what time does and keep going" -some famous guy
How do I wait to lose this weight, I'm doing everything right but I'm impatient af' I know it's a lifestyle change rather than a temporary change but there's still an impatient voice in the back of my head that can't wait to get rid of this weight. How do I learn to be patient with the weight loss? Are there any special "tricks" to dealing with the impatience?

    I reframe: "Only a pound a week" - ugh

To: "52 pounds in a year!" - hooray!

How long did it take to put ON the weight? Weeks? Months? Years?

Compare that to the time it will take to take it off at 1 to 2 lbs a week. I suspect the ratio will still make the take - off time small by comparison.

I've done the fast weight loss thing…and I ended up back on here, twenty pounds heavier than I was when I started losing all that weight. At this point, for me, I know it's either stay where I was (my starting weight), or be patient. It doesn't feel like a choice to me--if I don't lose weight slowly and sustainably, I'm not gonna permanently lose it, which is not an option. I really don't wanna be harsh, but thinking of the alternatives to slow, sustainable weight loss has really helped me--maybe it'll help you too!

Honestly... 22 days. 15 pounds in 22 days.
