Diet while on vacation

I'll be on a solo journey for about 3 weeks in November. Since I'll be by myself, I'm seeking advice on ways to keep myself accountable even though I'm already thinking about all the food I want to eat. Also, I'll be doing Airbnb so I won't have access to a gym. What can I do besides walking that can help me burn more calories?

You could pack a jump rope. Very light weight and takes up very little room, but provides a great cardio workout.

You know it's not really about the exercise though, it's about what you eat

that said walking on holiday really helps burn (pick up the pace when you can, perhaps a basic fitbit to help judgebut you can do a bunch of home exercises using youtube, go swimming, choose active tourist activities

Check out body weight exercises on the web. Your body is your gym.

Do a bike tour in the cities you visit, they usually last several hours and can be a great calorie burn... run every morning and check out the amazing surrounds as you do... you should be able to map out any runs before you even start your trip.
Do all the touristy things and make sure you are walking, a lot!

Don't deprive yourself of food especially if you are going to a place known for cuisine. Just eat in moderation and remember to have fun!

If it you don't end up cooking every day, there's a cool app called Healthy Out I've used with clients with good results. Just put in what type of foods you're looking for, and it recommends places and dishes to get.

I'd second bodyweight exercises. A simple circuit of squat jumps, push-ups, reverse lunges, glute bridges, and side planks for 4-5 rounds, for example, can be pretty decent to still get a good workout in.
