Hello - Starting from Scratch

Hello there,

I've used MFP before during college and was able to drop 30lbs. But after graduation... I now work at an office so I sit in front of a desk all day; I moved to Miami so I have no friends here, and my husband doesn't want to go to the gym all the time since he has enough of a workout at work.
I'm hoping that this time around with MFP I can stay on track again and meet some awesome people along the way.
I'm 5'2 and 220lbs. I just turned 23, and I'm so ready for a life change.

Let me know if you have any advice or positive motivational quotes. :)

    Been using MFP since new year, lost 56 lb

    Found map my walk Helpfull, start gently I did 3 x 30 min walk a week, built up to daily now 3 -5 miles a day
    Not a gym person but now love walking and listening to ipod

    I'm an office worker too - sitting ALL day! :(
    I've lost 30lbs! Keep an eye on what you're eating (track, track, track!) and move more if you can. I get up and walk around the office a few times a day just so I'm getting those vital steps in!
