Getting bloodwork and need to fast...

I can't eat for EIGHT hours before I go to the doctor for my check up tomorrow. OF COURSE I'm going to be starving as I won't have eaten after tonight (8 hours before is 5am-- so not eating before then). Does anyone know if it is okay for me to drink Vitamin Water Zero? I just feel like I'll need SOMETHING to keep me going in the morning at work, but I don't want it to throw off my results! It has zero calories so think it'd be okay.. but again don't know since it obviously has electrolytes, etc... is that okay?
Please help if you know!! THANK YOU!

I agree with just sticking to plain water. Sometimes the vitamin waters have added sodium, potassium, etc. that probably won't affect your numbers too much but they could. The idea is to have "nothing by mouth" or be NPO for 8 hours prior to the bloodwork, but most MD's will okay water.0
