Heavy weight lifting results

I'm so excited to share this because I didn't even know how much success I have had this year. Past me: obsessed with the scales and counting calories, always beating myself up over 0.2kg here and there, which usually lead to binge eating ... I'm sure you all know the story.
This year I have basically cut out all cardio, and I've been working on getting heavy with my squats and dead-lifts. I developed scapular winging and dealt with agonizing nerve pain for months which ultimately was what made me shift from thinking about calories and the scale, to focusing a lot more on the function of my muscles.
So I unpacked an old shirt from a previous weight-loss stint (I had re-gained almost 15 kilos because life) and even though I knew I was a long way off my previous weight, I decided that I was feeling confident enough to do a visual comparison from this old picture of me (my lowest weight was 65kg, the old picture was about 67 or 68kg).
So, tonight I was expecting to see myself a good bit chunkier than the old shirt, because I currently weight 73kg ... and check out the result ...
