hello all! It's been a long 14 month journey and I have lost 55 pounds whilst living in Costa Rica. My stress level was nearly nil and food options were limited. I used MFP religiously and jogged 2-4 days per week. After 3 months in the U.S. I moved with my family to South Africa where I fell into a bit of trouble with my appetite control. The food is amazing here and I truthfully began snacking more, logging in less and slipped w bit. Not much, but a 2 kg weight gain (about 5 pounds) really upset me. I am climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in 9 1/2 weeks and want to lose another 10 pounds to be as fit as possible for this journey I have been training for past 14 months so... (Kindly spare unkind judgement) I asked a doctor for a one mo th script for Duromine to help me with the last bit. We agreed it would be one month only at the lowest dose of 15 mg and in just 2 days I feel more in control. Any experience in a similar situation would be helpful. I'm working out a great bit for training and my appetite has been out of control plus the food here in SA is amazing! Thanks in advance for any input and constructive criticism - cheers!

I am into my final 10 too, the only advice I have is change up how you eat. Try a week of super low sugar, or a week of no starchy carbs, or a week of raw till 4, i find it helps keep my metabolism on it's toes in these last (really freaking hard) few pounds!

I was on that when loosing initially, I then maintained for about 5 months and now i'm back on it I'm at 1350, but only as I'm so active at work (restaurant manager, running about alllll day!) I need a bit more energy than before! plus I'd prefer it to be slow, more chance of staying off! Huge good luck to you!
