Soda dilema...need some fake internet advice...

Brought a soda (cherry vanilla coke zero from a tap) for my wife who I thought was home. Well, she won't be home for a while and it'll be flat and ice melt diluted by the time she drinks it.

Is it poor form to just drink it myself? Or should I just let it go bad and have her appreciate the gesture and enjoy her crummy coke?

15 internet points for the first "just break up" variant. Subsequent JBU's will award 5 less than previous post.

easy. drink it yourself. don't tell her you bought it in the first place.

that's currently what I'm doing, really created this thread to know how guilty I should feel about it...

No shame. No one wants a watered down drink. Although I do have to say Ewwww on the choice. :D

leave a little bit in the cup. sit it by the sink. accidentally knock it over. it'll look like it went down the drain except for what was left in the cup. she'll still appreciate the gesture. you still get the coke. its a win win.

This is all wrong. Your approach should have been to call her, get the credit for purchasing the love soda offering & guilt her into insisting you drink it instead.

I understand this. I was courted to marriage with 7-11 Super Size Big Gulps.

Why feel guilty? Its Her fault that She's not home to enjoy it. You did all you could. Waste not, want not. Starving (thirst) children in the third world country of your choice. Wait that's how I gained this weight in the first place.
