sparkling water/sucralose

I am trying to drink more water but I have a hard time with it. So i decided to start drinking sparkling flavored water, such as crystal clear. It is labeled as zero calories and zero carbs but the sugar content is not listed. I read the ingredients and found sucralose which sounds like a sugar. I was wandering if this counts as sugar and if it is okay to drink this and count it as water.

Sucralose has zero calories so you can count it as water but you should not drink more than 15 mg sucralose per day and kg body weight.
  • Sucralose is Splenda. (And the like.)

Try drinking some of the plain sparkling water. It is a little bitter, which kind of gives it a flavor when compared to standard flat water. Just having the effervescence, at least for me, makes me feel like I'm drinking a soda versus just plain 'ol water.
