Walking 4.5 mph

Ok so according to myfitnesspal if I eat my rda whilst walking 2 seperate 1 hour 4.5 mph walks I can lose 3 lbs a week, anyone know if this could be possible I'm 20 years old so young I just don't want to get my hopes up in still doing to do those walks every day but would 2 lbs be more accurate or would the 3 be possible?

Hi and welcome to MFP!! 3 pounds a week will be very hard to sustain. Weight loss occurs from being in a calorie deficit and exercise is for health and well being. read this

I know that seems fast but that just seems to be my way of power walking that's comfortable without over exerting myself, is it ideal to lose 3 a week?0

Have you actually timed and measured an hour walk you've done and determined it averaged 4.5 mph? Because that would really be bookin' it and for a long period of time. Especially if you plan to do it twice a day.
I walk relatively faster than I run. My 5k run is around 33 minutes. Last year I was running a race and picked a power walker up ahead to try to pass. Good grief that guy was fast. It was comically difficult to pass him and then I could still hear/sense him not too far behind me.0 -

Do you mean 4.5 kilometre/hour walks?
