Ooook MFPoodles....what's the deal with shoes??? Are we wearing them during an indoor workout??? I have been bare footing or going with the classic tube sock for my p90 workouts but now I'm torn!!! You see if I am not working out then I am flip flopping...meaning I wear flip flops...but...I'm wondering if my shoes feel they are getting the ol sole shaft you know???? I also may just be tired..or hungry...or both!!! The perfect combination for midnight cereal mmmmm....

I wear shoes as little as possible but running is my exercise of choice, so I wear them!

I'm a fan of shoes. For me I find that different styles work best with certain workouts. Even when I did Insanity for a hot second I wore shoes. Couldn't imagine doing that barefoot. I did take classes for a while at a hot studio and went barefoot for those and they were bootcamp/kettlebell workouts. I also wear flip flops 99% of the time.

I vote freedom for toes! My feet love being au naturel. Maybe its from martial arts? I workout at home and weight train barefoot. I once did p90x3 barefoot. I'm scared of squashing a toe with a weight plate one day, but once the little piggies have gotten a taste of freedom, their ruined for captivity.

If it is not too cold I love going barefoot at home. Never for exercise though. I need the support a shoe offers, and more importantly, the shock absorbers.
Right now I'm skipping all the jumps in my groupclass because I need new shoes and haven't had the time to go buy any yet.

You need to wear shoes (or at least socks) EVERYWHERE in public spaces (especially the gym). I heard my podiatrist scream, "There are warts! There warts EVERYWHERE!" I assume she meant plantar warts.

Warts????? No way...that's only if you are going barefoot in a swamp and you're stepping on a bunch of toads!!!

    My shoe preferences:

    Running - yes
    Squats - lifting shoes
    Other lifting - socks only
