I am currently saving up for a Bellicon! I'm worried about getting the wrong one! Would you recommend going with the strength recommended according to weight? Mine would be strong. I don't want it to be too loose... Also I don't know if I should get the 44 in or the 49 in... Personal experiences?? Thank you!!

Hi, I have a 49" Bellicon with extra strong bungees, which the customer service guy strongly recommended; this is also what the chart said. He said there is a lot of bad information on the Internet and even when I said I'd be doing waking DVDs on mine and didn't want coning he said to go with the strength recommended; remember, there's great benefits from having a gentle bounce. I've had mine for a few weeks and love it. I'm happy I got the big one, so I feel extra secure on it, plus I can do more moves on it. If you have the room, go for it! It's very sturdy and heavy, so if you want to move it around a lot, you might prefer something smaller. It's great quality!
    Hope this is helpful!

That's so awesome! Ok I am mostly worried because I'm not sure if my husband will use it or not but if he does, he is about 200 pounds which is clear at the top of the strong recommendation so I don't know if I should get extra strong or still go with strong... I may just get the strong. the customer service guy told me I could exchange them within 10 days if they don't feel right. I just don't want to go through that. Do you love the 49 inch? Is it TOO big? Do you feel like you could do quick moves on it like dance cardio? That's more what I would be doing, and just jumping.

I've actually not done any videos on it yet. I had a back injury that's made me keep it easy, but I've done a lot of jogging, I've done v-steps, jumping jacks, hamstring curls, as well as some jumps with 90 and 180° turns on it (before I was injured as far as the 180°turns go). I don't think the 49 is too big at all - it just feels comfortable. I know of other people who have the 49 and they love it as well; some of them had a smaller one previously and they're very happy to have the bigger one now.
The only thing that I'd say is that if you think your husband will use it a lot, you might like the extra strong bungees. It's always recommended to have the strength for the heaviest user and I think extra strong is ideal for his weight. However, if you're not sure about that I'd get the strength recommended for you, so that you get the nice bounce! Also, you can get both strengths and alternate them if he winds up loving it.

Good idea. Thank you so much. I'll talk to him about it before deciding. I'm also on the high end of the weight for strong. I asked the rep and he said to get strong but I still am hesitant. I like the idea of having two sizes though!

Ok I just looked at the recommendations again. I really should have the extra strong. I think I'll get that one and then as I lose weight, I can get strong. I want to do more than the health bounce.

I found that going for the optimal option, in the center, worked very well. Yes, some people alternate bungees, which you can also do after a year or so, when they get a little looser with use.
