So before the thread goes has some sort of fit - my weightloss is being monitored by a medical professional. I am receiving the proper nutrients and eating enough food.

Basically my final year at college ha me pulling all nighters in the labs. I often wouldn't leave the school for 40 hours straight. Whenever I had an opportunity to eat, I are as much as I could since I didn't know when my next meal would be. I got into a habit of drinking a lot of energy drinks. Sometimes 6 in a day. I gained a lot of weight. Before my final year at college I was running around 10 hours a week.

So I started having pains and my doctor suspects my weight may be making the pain worse (I still have to have some tests done to find the cause) and asked me to lose weight. I've been eating a lot better and I'm doing about an hour of cardio every day, every other day I walk to do errands (about an hour of walking every other day) and at the gym I started lifting every other day. Amazing success so far.

This wasn't a crash diet either. Over a month I worked my way into this lifestyle, slowly making positive changes. I have 6 more weeks of this " extreme " lifestyle before I can work my way back up to maintenance. I can only hope that I can get back to my old self again.

I'm confused as to why you're calling it an extreme lifestyle when it sounds like exercise and hopefully healthy eating unless that 's the extreme part you haven't shared. But either way congratulations on 25 lb pounds lost and more success to come if that is your goal.
