Hi my name is mary I'm from Willis Texas, starting my new journey but like they say it is hard to do things by yourself. we do need support groups it's hard it's really hard to stay motivated, I'm trying to walk and have better eating habits. here we go.

    Mary welcome to MFP!!! You are in a VERY helpful, supportive community here. You're right-this can't be done alone. The best way is to try to make small changes-don't try to tackle everything at once. I'm not 100% sure
    how much help I can be since I'm just restarting myself after a long time falling off the wagon, but you can add

    That's good advice. Also, set your weekly weight loss goals to something reasonable and not too aggressive & restrictive.

    Thank for the input, try to lose 50lb. My goal is 2lb a week.
