So I've been doing LCHF for about 2 weeks but i can't seem to eat more than 50g of fat. I tried added in for nuts.
Will this ruin it? I should be eating 100g according to the research I've done

If I was doing LCHF then nuts would definitely be a big part of it. After that cheese. What other diets have you tried before?0

This is the only one so far. And the only one that works for me. I love it..I just hope not eating enough fat doesn't ruin it

if you remain in a calorie deficit, nothing will ruin it.0

There are loads more people here doing lchf who can advise you better I'm sure. The only way you'll ruin it is by going over on your calories, so make sure you track those. Good luck0

Okay. Thanks to both of you! That's what I figured but I wanted to make sure0

Relying too much o protein can affect you somewhat since extra protein can be converted to glucose, but you would have to be very protein heavy.
If you want to up your fats, you need to add fats. I took a quick look at your diary, and it looks good, but you didn't add fats. For example:- You appear to like chicken. Try skin on cuts. Add a mayo, butter or olive oil dressing to your chicken, or put a guacamole or cheese on it. Try a chicken stirfry cooked in a nice oil.
- Have a couple of slices of cheese with your meals
- Try macadamia nuts which are the fattiest nuts
- Don't use lite salad dressings. Use full fat and add some seeds to it too.
- Add some heavy whipped cream to your icecream, or some coconut.
Try some fattier cuts of meat. Add bacon to veggies.... I see bacon and cheese as a real perk of being LCHF, You may as well use them
You look like you are doing fine, you just need to retrain your thinking that fat is bad. It's not. Use MCT coconut oil if you are concerned about the health aspects of saturated fats.
Best wishes.

Yes it's hard to wrap my head around the fact that I can eat fat lol.
But I will add in your tips. Maybe I'll bring some bacon to work tomorrow..and make everyone jealous
Thanks again!!!!!!0 -
Yep! Eat macadamia nuts, and add MCT oil, and/or macadamia nut oil to your protein shakes. Easy to do!0

Almonds, coconut flakes, coconut oil, Heavy Whipping Cream, bacon, eggs are my go to Fats.
I expect it was 90 days before I got my Fat number up because eating fat is hard after having one's health brainwashed away.0 -
Do you like butter? I love butter and that's what really helps me hit my fat macro (that and eggs)0
