I'm trying to eat only slightly less calories than normal so I can steadily and slowly loose weight it it's hard because I don't see any difference. I feel like its not doing anything.

How many less calories are you eating? How long have you been doing it for? How accurate are you with your calorie counting - do you weigh everything? If you exercise, do you eat back your exercise calories?0

That's because it's only a slight deficit, if it really is even a deficit.
What are you calling "slightly less calories than normal"?0 -
I am losing slowly too (about 23 lbs in a year). I will sometimes go several weeks without losing anything, especially now that I am close to goal. But I think this is the best way I've ever lost weight. I've not been hungry and I don't have to change much/anything for maintenance.
I'd suggest taking measurements. I have consistently lost inches, even when weight isn't going down.0
