Hey, all! Well I'm back on MFP again, as I've used it successfully in the past to lose weight. The time I lost the most weight, I was active on the site and has friends on here to help me. I am now at my highest weight ever at 290 coming from a low of 235 a few years back when I lost weight on MFP. I desperately need to lose weight as I am now 26 and he consequences are already starting to show. I do have issues with impulsivity and emotional regulation, which has always lead to a struggle with food for me. I am making an effort to work on those things so I can finally get my weight under control. If you would like, please add me as a friend. I need you guys!!

Welcome to the boards! You have a great attitude and I know you will achieve your goals. I have always had lot of emotional reasons to overeat but now I believe the key is behavioral modification. In other words, making new habits. I've read that anything you do for 90 days in a row becomes a permanent habit. 90 days seems like a lot, but start with one day, then two days in a row, etc. Each day will get easier. Success breeds success. Good luck! I will send you a friend request.0

It's never too late to jump back in and make a healthier change. Welcome back! I know exactly where you are coming from. I started back on here after weighing in at my heaviest ever and decided I needed to make a change for good this time. I also struggle with impulsive eating. But with the help of the app, I've really gotten better about making good choices. Of course it's a work in progress but it's the steps forward in the right direction that count. Add me as a friend! I'm active on here and on a long journey like you. :-)0
