This looks interesting to me. Not a lot of different isolation exercises and doesnt appear to take a long time. Has anyone tried this? What have been your results? Thank you for you time.

I did 5x5 for about a year. I didn't really lose any weight (but that wasn't my goal). I was eating to maintain and do a recomp. I ended up losing several inches all over, gained a few pounds of muscle (per my body scan), and got a lot stronger than I was previously.
It's a nice and simple program. Because it is complex movements, you work your whole body without a huge chunk of time being committed to the gym. I highly recommend it to anyone just getting started or wanting something different.0 -
Thank you guys.. This is a big help. Looks like a great program to get started with strength training0

I have only been doing it for a few months so I don't have much change looks wise other than I have noticed some areas becoming more toned but nothing huge. After a couple months I lost minimal inches but it was something. Biggest thing is strength I have gained. I did isolation a long time ago and its not near as beneficial in my opinion! Try it out I am sure you will love it! Also check out Ice Cream Fitness 5x5 it adds in some accessories!0

Amazing transformation, well done0 -
I love this program! It's been so easy for me to implement as a beginner to lifting. I don't have any good pics now but it's really amazing how fast I'm noticing improvement. Newb gains, I guess.0
