What are your favorite salad toppings? Need some new ideas.

My go to is feta. One ounce is 70 calories and packs huge flavor!

For a dressing I add a tsp of oil oil, a tsp of balsamic vinegar and a dash of garlic powder. Mix together and pour on.
For toppings I use, nuts, seeds, all different cheeses, strawberries, grapes, apples all add flavour.

Strawberries, red onions, roasted beets (chop them up, toss them with a little honey, balsamic vinegar or agave and roast until tender), goat cheese and toasted pecans. It's a meal unto itself!

I am a huge fan of Bethenny Frankel’s “use what you have” salad strategy

I always use organic spinach in salads to pack in more nutrients (fiber!) than iceberg or romaine. For toppings I’ll typically always use goat cheese and then my toppings really vary. Yesterday it was black beans, fresh salsa, two thin avocado slices, and fresh bell peppers. But a few days prior before it was a crumbled veggie burger, (100 calories and 14g protein!) carrots, tomato and a squeeze of fresh lemon. I personally don’t like dressing at all, so my “dressings” are things like lemon juice and fresh salsa. Use what you have around—it’s quick, easy, and usually turns into a new favorite!

Really just toss in anything I am feeling for, could be an assortment of things such as:
Chickpeas or any bean you like
Pita puffs if you want some crunch
    Mandarin oranges
    Dried cranberries
    Nuts (walnuts, thinly sliced almonds)
    Cheese (feta, cheddar)
Roasted veggies – red peppers, onions etc
