My internist turned me on to this site as well as my daughter's urging at my last physician's appointment and so today I set up my account.
I'm fat it's hard to say but I must admit it.
I currently weight 253# and I'm only five foot two. So you see I need to lose at least one half of my weight. My goal I think is 140 (still over one hundred pounds).
This site looks good to me to help me track what I place into my mouth. I only wish it would help me decrease my hunger as I am also almost always hungry!![:o :o](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/open_mouth.png)

Great first step! Tracking what you eat is the first step. Awareness of your choices in the moment. I started out at 226 last year after a lot of struggle I finally just made the promise to myself that no matter what I ate I would track it (as a way to own it). Since I did that I've lost about 30lbs (since May). Keep at it!0
