My internist turned me on to this site as well as my daughter's urging at my last physician's appointment and so today I set up my account.

I'm fat it's hard to say but I must admit it. :( I currently weight 253# and I'm only five foot two. So you see I need to lose at least one half of my weight. My goal I think is 140 (still over one hundred pounds).

This site looks good to me to help me track what I place into my mouth. I only wish it would help me decrease my hunger as I am also almost always hungry! :o

Anyway, I hope to 'meet' you all soon.

    Welcome! Great job making the first step to a healthier life. I weigh 230 lbs and have about 70lbs to lose. We can do it!!

    Great first step! Tracking what you eat is the first step. Awareness of your choices in the moment. I started out at 226 last year after a lot of struggle I finally just made the promise to myself that no matter what I ate I would track it (as a way to own it). Since I did that I've lost about 30lbs (since May). Keep at it!
