Hello everyone! I just turned 43 and figured it is time to get my old body back. I have been reading up on negative accentuated workouts and wondered if anyone here has tried it and if so, how has it worked for you?

What is it?0

It is a workout where you focus on the lowering of the weight rather than the raising our lifting.... From what i understand it is performed slowly and with heavy weight0

I do that when I'm lifting anyway. When I deadlift, I don't let the weight drop to the floor, I lower it slowly, controlling it.0

Do you notice that it makes any sort of a difference?0

I love doing Negatives I try to do them once a month or so. It's what helped me get my bench press up. Haven't really tried it with any other exercises though. Make sure you have a spot.0

Cool! Thanks for the feedback
