Hey guys. I have 474 calories left for dinner and I haven't taught Body Pump yes, so let's say I burn 400. That's over 800 calories for me to net 1200. I don't really have enough here at the house to make a healthy NINE HUNDRED CALORIE dinner!! LOL!!! Would it be an idea to maybe get a big high protein smoothie from Smoothie King? Only problem is sugar. I can cut it by making it skinny, but then the calories go down too. Honestly..I've never seen a 5ft 6 girl down this many calories and lose weight....but I'm trying it! HELP!!!

a handful of nuts or some avocado or olive oil on your food will pack in some good healthy fat calories!

I have some of those things, but not enough to fill the deficit. :-/

I wouldn't worry about eating every exercise calorie just for the sake of eating it. If you want to get the calories in, how about adding another snack to your day today; break it up into 2 meals.

It isn't really the exercise calories so much as it is netting 1200 by the end of the day. I've been on a year old plateau and have been told to never let your net be under 1200? Eating the 800+ would just get me to that minimum net. So confused!

I hear ya! Then it just comes down to planning your day a bit better. Don't worry about today, eat whatever healthy dinner you have and move on. On days where you know you are going to have this other class at night, or whatever, spread your calories out more through the day; increase the calories a bit in each meal. Then you aren't eating one gigantic meal at night.

I would go for it only because your body needs that protein after a workout, but you may want to plan your meals for the week over the weekend so you have stuff handy.

My class is at 730 at night so I would only be able to have it before hand....or could I cut my loses today but go over tomorrow? Hard Times Cafe is having an Autism benefit and I'm SURE it's all high cal. LOL! Even if I split it up, it feels like I ate a TON today. Tomorrow's schedule? I teach 45 min spin at 930 and an hour at 530. Ahhhhhhhh!!!! Haha!
