I am working on making my diet healthier and more fresh. I do have a lot of processed food in my diet, sorry, but at least it is no longer just hot pockets and microwaved food. I am using vegetarian substitutes that are sold at whole foods for protein because I'm a vegetarian. My diet before this is awful, but if someone could look at my diet right now as I'm planning out my day/night and tell me what I could do to add more protein? Would vegetarian pinto or refried beans have a lot? I could those on a corn tortilla or alone even. I know they would also up my fat intake. I could try to do something with peanut butter...which also is kind of high in fat but I dont really like peanut butter lol. Honestly its 5:30 and Im not sure Ill even eat all this today haha but it would help me for tomorrow too so if anyone has ideas let me know. and no I do no eat fish or any other meat or meat biproducts. I do eat dairy. I considered Quorn parmesan (made with quorn vegetarian cutlets, mozzarella and pasta sauce) for dinner with broccoli but theres not a lot of protein in quorn. Thank you in advance for any ideas.

EDIT: I had no idea plain pinto beans were fat free... that will help a lot!

Dairy will help you meet protein goals, particularly cottage cheese and yogurt (if you like them.) Beans are a good source of protein, as are nuts and seeds. Tempeh, tofu and seitan are delicious and protein-packed. Vegetables are great - top them with a little cheese and nuts. You can add a protein shake in a pinch if you need protein, along with protein bars (some are very high calorie, though, so be careful.)
