Taking a 2 year olds measurements

This afternoon my two year old came skipping in the living room with my measuring tape. I laughed as she tried to copy what she had seen mommy do earlier.
I asked her if she wanted me to measure her tummy. She said "oh tay." Then she looks down, as I wrapped the tape around her. She pooched her tummy out as far as she could, so she could see what I was doing. I measured her tummy, looked at her real serious and said "uh oh, 20 inches." She looked up at me and said "oh no!" I asked her if we should measure her thighs and she shook her head, yes. She stuck her leg out and grabbed my shoulder for balance. I wrapped the tape around her thigh. I paused and she looked at me, then her leg, then back at me, real serious. I said "11 inches." She looked at me with a blank stare waiting for me to say something. I smiled and said "your perfect!!" She let out a loud huff, giggled and ran off to play.

Just wanted to share a precious moment from my life today.
