I have a desk job and a few times a week i work the night shift. That means me and netflix. It also leads to snacking. any tips on not snacking at work?

Instead of not snacking, could you bring some healthy, low-cal snacks with you? I like bringing sliced strawberries, baby carrots, light yogurt, laughing cow cheese, pretzel crisps, etc.

I think you should snack but on healthy things. I love snacking on red peppers! Cut some up and throw them in a bag and you have a quick and healthy snack. 100 calorie bags of popcorn are good snacks, greek yogurt, carrots, fruit. all are good snacks. Make sure you drink water too!

Cereal measured out into serving sizes or 100 cal snack packs. I've found that if I eat one piece at a time instead of several (like the habit) then they last longer and I feel more satisfied after. But, if you want to avoid eating during your shift, try more protein in the meal before you go. I know if I eat eggs or chicken before my shift then I am usually not hungry again until I get home...

This sounds silly, but occupy yourself with something that will keep your mind off food like make a bracelet out of string. I used to do that at work bc it takes like a week to finish those things! We used to make them at camp lol.

i agree with the suggestion about the bracelet! If you're keeping your hands busy with something other than snacking u ll be less likely to snack. Im a hairstylist so i usually dont have this issue but during down time i ll try to clean anything and everything around the salon to avoid going to the back room and nibbling.
