Trying once again (in Indiana)

Hi everyone! My name is Marty. I'm a Professor at a Big Ten university in Indiana. I've been overweight most of my adult life; I'm 63 now. I'm interested in being mindful of my calorie intake. My goal is to lose about 45 pounds at an average of 1 lb/week. I recognize that this is a slow-change process and so I'm looking for support from others with similar goals. I pretty much know what to do (I have a whole shelf of diet books!), it's just about taking action, one day at a time! Take care, Marty

I do want to lose weight for life, and it takes it´s time, since it´s a change of life, so it´s better to go slow and persevere, than go faster and leave it soon. Feel free to add me as a friend.0
