Honestly looks like a very green pumpkin, but I think it's too dark a green for that.
Some kind of winter squash, anyway. Hope it's yummy!!0 -

yes, definitely a winter squash.
i like to bake squash with fresh thyme and a little butter.
the seeds are really nutritious. scoop them out (like above poster said), rinse, rub with olive oil, a little salt, pepper and dried (or fresh) herbs and bake until golden. they've got more protein than a steak.0 -
