I have just gone over by a thousand calories :open_mouth:. It's the first time I've binged like this since I started nearly four months ago. Daily average is 1500 so 1000 is a lot of calories but wasn't actually much food, cheese on toast, mixed nuts and a few biscuits. Not really sure why it happened, I didn't feel hungry but just needed to eat. I don't even feel full or bloated, it's strange, usually my daily allowance is plenty. Maybe I'm getting a cold (the rest of my family have one).

I'm sorry, I don't have a question. I just needed to share with others who might understand.

I went over my calories by 1200 earlier this month. I logged it and went on. It only took a few days for the scale to go back down.

Everyone has an oops now and again! Don't dwell, don't feel bad, and don't keep rehashing it in your mind. Just move forward toward your goal. :)

I would certainly not call this a 'binge'.
People throw the word 'binge' around when 99% of the time, what they are describing doesn't even qualify as a 'binge'! You're fine. Log it and get back on track tomorrow! I always love waking up to a fresh set of calories!

Thanks everyone, I'm actually completely okay about it. I plug my daily calories into a spreadsheet which works out my monthly average, 1000 spread over 20 days is really not much at all, especially as some of those days I was under.

I think what really surprised me was how little food could equal 1000 over. I always thought it would be really difficult to go over by that much but now I can see how easy it would be to do that several times a week.
