I have just gone over by a thousand calories
. It's the first time I've binged like this since I started nearly four months ago. Daily average is 1500 so 1000 is a lot of calories but wasn't actually much food, cheese on toast, mixed nuts and a few biscuits. Not really sure why it happened, I didn't feel hungry but just needed to eat. I don't even feel full or bloated, it's strange, usually my daily allowance is plenty. Maybe I'm getting a cold (the rest of my family have one).
I'm sorry, I don't have a question. I just needed to share with others who might understand.

I went over my calories by 1200 earlier this month. I logged it and went on. It only took a few days for the scale to go back down.0

I would certainly not call this a 'binge'.
People throw the word 'binge' around when 99% of the time, what they are describing doesn't even qualify as a 'binge'! You're fine. Log it and get back on track tomorrow! I always love waking up to a fresh set of calories!0 -
Thanks everyone, I'm actually completely okay about it. I plug my daily calories into a spreadsheet which works out my monthly average, 1000 spread over 20 days is really not much at all, especially as some of those days I was under.
I think what really surprised me was how little food could equal 1000 over. I always thought it would be really difficult to go over by that much but now I can see how easy it would be to do that several times a week.
