So I'm just starting out on my weight loss journey. I'm currently 300 and I was wondering if it is best to stick with just cardio right now or to do strength training as well?

Neither are necessary for weight loss. As long as your diet is on point you will lose weight. The advice I would give you is to find something you like to do and do that.0 -
Well I do enjoy going to the gym I've been going every day I just wanted to make sure I was doing the right things0

Both, either, or neither. It's up to you.
The big thing is to do what you enjoy, as that will help you keep doing it and keep losing. For calorie burn efficiency, cardio is good and is good for your heart. Lifting doesn't burn a lot of calories, but tones you up.
But do what you will keep doing, set a healthy loss goal, log your stuff and stick with it.0 -
Skip cardio pump iron, the biggest bang for the buck. .0

do a little of both, and a little more of what you like to do better. and diet.0
