Newbie on board - water

Just getting back into the exercise/diet routine. Hoping to reach my goals this time and I think the myfitnesspal will be beneficial.
Question: Hard for me to drink min. of 8 glasses a water daily. Any suggestions?

    I like adding lemon , lime, oranges, cucumber or berries to my water ....also tea or coffee is included for water

    What other things are you drinking instead? Try trading one to two of your non water drinks a day with good ol water. Many other drinks are loaded with sugar, which can make it difficult to lose. The biggest selling point for me was that i'd much rather eat my calories than drink them.

    Unsweetened tea, crystal light, Mio. Those all count as water and help me get my water intake. I usually drink 2 16 oz bottles of "plain" water at work. Then the rest of my day is unsweetened tea or crystal light.

    What helped me was getting a water bottle (I use a Camelbak which holds 0.75 liters of water) and keeping it with me everywhere. Idk, having a bottle that holds a larger amount of water than a regular bottle helped me drink more throughout the day. And seconding what ms_smartypants said, putting fruit in there, too. I used to hate drinking water but now I crave it and will drink that more than anything else.
