Leek Soup Ideas?

I loooove cooking big batches of soup, and I'd like to try one with leek next - only aside from leeks and potatos, I don't know what to put in it. I like for my soups to (at least potentially) be meals on their own, so I think more vegetables might be in order. I'm a vegetarian, so I understand that it might be hard to add protein to this particular dish. Leeks and lentils or tofu probably don't mix, haha.
Does anyone have any ideas? All the recipes online seem to call for leeks and potatos and very little else

Actually, I've got a recipe for you! Sub leaks for the spring onions (I think I've done this before and it turned out fine) and then blend in a (drained) block of extra firm tofu. Yum! It's a really tasty recipe and you can't taste the tofu but it adds a punch a protein.

I made leek and potato, leek and cauliflower and lemon chicken and vegetable. You could use leek where most recipes call for onion.

Vichyssoise? It is basic potatoes, leeks and cream. I usually just use milk though. It is very easy to make, and at least for me, it is a full meal. Potatoes are filling0

I do leek cauliflower... 3 leeks, one cauliflower, one onion, 2 containers of broth. I just boil it all together and blend when the cauliflower is soft.0
