HELP please, Do I add all my steps for the day?

Do I add all my steps for the whole day on exercise log or just when I walk? I've lost 70 pounds since April and needed do more for last 20 pounds... thanks

    Just physical exercise. Anything else will count into your activity level.

    I know malibu already answered your question, so I'm just here for emphasis...

    When I applied my all-day step count to MFP, it messed my caloric intake up SO BADLY that I actually gained weight. And that became one frustration leading to another to another etc. So just in my experience, not only shouldn't you do that, and only log actual intended exercise, but it can work against you if you did add it. Sometimes I'm a little lax and if I go to the mall and walk for two hours, I'll add that, but just traipsing about my house was what hurt my efforts initially...
