I use it as a salad dressing because I think it's delicious, the fact it has an added benefit or two is just an added bonus :)

A quick google search on either ACV or lemon water will give you more information than you can poke a stick at.

Neither of them will do anything for weight loss, but they taste nice. Watch the lemon water - too much lemon juice can mess with your tooth enamel.

They taste nice in sauces and salads. Lemon water is nice, but can affect your teeth. Fresh lemon juice has some vitamin c (not much compared e.g. to oranges) but warm water will destroy it. Taking vinegar in a spoon, it sounds like some sort of weird punishment. With no benefits.

ACV has not deserved the reputation it has received. I cannot figure out if the vinegar industry started all this or if the dieters or anorexics did, but it's bogus. Don't drink vinegar because you think it will make you lose weight faster. It won't.

ACV is wonderful for cooking with or in salad dressings, etc. I use it so often that I have it in a quick-spout bottle. I used it yesterday on roasted root veggies...other things, too, but I use it all the time on all kinds of things.

    I wouldn't drink it, though.

Vinegar is also acidic and can harm your teeth. Also naturally fermented foods, like sauerkraut, are acidic. Some people recommend rinsing your mouth after eating them.

Actually, there is solid scientific evidence that vinegar (not just apple cider vinegar) reduces insulin spikes if taken shortly before a meal which you can read about in the following blog:

    https://intensivedietarymanagement.com/the-benefits-of-vinegar-hormonal-obesity-xxviii/

There is less effect if taken at night, but better effect if taken before meals.

Obesity is primarily a hormonal condition - too much insulin. So reducing insulin spikes will help you to lose weight and help with a myriad other heath problems.

Current scientific research, for what it's worth...

    There are none

Unless you own the woo or think minutiae from specific in isolation studies, poorly extrapolated to mass media hype mean anything of substance
