Looking for itfym myfitnesspal users to share their healthy, clean yet flexible meals. I'm in the process of transitioning from "bro meals" structure to foods that are still clean & healthy but with more tasty variety. For instance, for breakfast I eat 30 grams of plain Quaker old fashion oatmeal and mix in cinnamon. However, I just recently found sugar free apple cinnamon instant oatmeal that is much tastier than plain Old fashion oats & it has the exact same macro info. ... Any suggestions are helpful . @vismal has an excellent youtube channel "Feeding Fitness"
I started a year ago with CICO plain and simple. But since September i am trying to do the way he does it and recommends.
Hope that helps you out.
Good luck OP0 -

What are your macros and calories? 30 g of oats wouldn't work for me due to the lack of calories and too little protein and fat in relationship to carbs.
For breakfast this time of year I often have eggs, veggies, a little meat, and some kind of starch.
I do have oats, Greek yogurt, and strawberries as a bedtime snack if I'm in my 30% protein ballpark. If not, I'll have cheese and almonds.0 -
I personally like balancing my carbs with protein (unless it's my afternoon popcorn, but that's another story). I usually make protein oats by stirring protein powder into my oatmeal and adding 1/2 cup pumpkin and cinnamon. Granted, that's more calories, but I guarantee you'll be full for hours.0

Sounds good! I'm going to try that with butternut squash.0 -
You might find the Eat This Much site helpful. You give it a calorie target and it selects meals and recipes that fit that range. You can specify options for vegan, keto, and other macro targets.

I did the free 14 day trial. It's interesting, but I can see that trying to fine tune it will be a little time consuming.0
