It's a biased documentary though (like most documentaries are). Food whether processed or not isn't the real issue. Over consumption is. These same foods are manufactured and made all over the world, yet the US is one of the fattest due to inability of consumers to restrict their total calories needed per day to stay at a healthy weight.

Glad you found the motivation to reach your goals

But fed up is a pile of poo and based on correlation not causation

It makes claims that have been roundly debunked

I agree you should watch how much you eat. I try not eat more then size of my fist ever time I eat or use small plate. But I lost weight faster, felt better, by cutting way back on sugar and carbs out of your diet. Before, I couldn't walk around the block without getting tired. Now I can walk miles without a sweat and race my grandkids down the street and play ball. I'm happier :)

Absolutely totally unnecessary ...it's just helping you hit a calorie defecit

    It isn't doing it faster

Carbs are a great macro ..but if you find cutting them helps you stick to your defecit that's your chosen way to hit CICO equation ...

Still think it's great you're at goal and energetic and having fun though

Thanks rabbitjb.. I shouldn't say fast, it took 6 months to get where I am at. I'm sure my age had something to do with that. For me cutting back on Carbs and sugar help me loss enough to the point where how I can exercise and enjoy it..

Habitual change for many will always be for the better and the mind believes the same.
While I believe that over consumption of sugar and carbs can cause issues and weight gain, I don't believe sugar and carbs are the direct reason why people get overweight/obese. As I've mentioned, there are lots and lots of countries (some who purchase more sugar than us) that have sugar and carb products that are marketed, but the users just don't overindulge which is why those countries don't have the same obesity issues.

    This 100%

I don't buy into fear mongering propaganda. I'm able to make my own choices and can eat a well balanced diet that also includes treats like candy or cake ,in moderation.

But if this has helped you , go for it. Just know there is other ways to have a healthy well balanced diet without giving up certain foods. For me, it's much more sustainable when I'm able to enjoy the foods I love. I dont ever feel deprived , because I practice portion control . I allow myself treats within my calories and macros.

It's such a biased piece of crap. Horrible movie. Lies all over the place and the logic they use doesn't even add up. The are missing huge pieces of information. And, they are completely ignoring parent responsibility.
I agree it's the parent responsibility.. hell, since I was little kid my parents wouldn't let us eat junk food or a lot sugar. We had milk for dinner not juices. We stayed outside and play not xbox. I skinny kid. I don't feel deprived giving up COKE, CANDY BARS, RICE, POTATOES, CHIPS. I did at one time. I do get eat piece of cake for someone birthday or ice cream for a reward for losing 10 pounds. I feel I should of done this a long time ago. Instead I made every excuse in the world for being overweight. And I was one of them people that eat all day. I much at all... But, I did drink a lot of coke and candy bar or small bag of chips, instead of a meal it was easier for me to grab. Everyone has to find what helps them. No one is the same. I'm just sharing my story. Hoping helps someone else like me.... YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!!!!! Thanks for sharing..

LMAOOOO for one I don't have any orcas in pool and I am pretty sure the documentary on sea world is not going help me loss weight. As far as comedy tv show, laughter is always a good thing, make you feel good and has no calories... Thanks for sharing :) p.s. I'm from Florida I love it sunny!!!!!!

My family watched this documentary recently and are in the middle of taking the 10 day no added sugar challenge right now. It's hard! But I do feel better and every morning when I weigh, my weight is a little lower. If nothing else, it has shown us just how much sugar we were consuming daily. (Hint: it was a lot.) I hope we have some long-lasting changes from this!
