I saw the womans thread and found it interesting so I thought I would ask about dude sizes. I'm 5'9" and dress shirts I am a 17 fitted and T-Shirts I'm inbetween a xxl and an xl. The xxl's seem to roomy but I don't like the way an xl hangs on me. For pants I'm a 34x32.
Shirt sizes seem wonky to me lately in the early 2000's I was about 300lbs and a XXL and sometimes a XXL seemed to fit me fine, now I'm 176 and still fitting into xxl's...

5'11" 225 and XL shirts are baggy on me most of the time. Pants are a 38 or 36 waist depending on the cut. At 176, XXL shirts are just way too big unless you have shrunk them (my laundry skills can do that!) or you just like them baggy.0

I was pushing XXL at 210 lbs. At 176 I would tend to take a large. Where I am now, about 160, mediums (media?) fit nice and snug, and if I'm lucky maybe even make me look a little muscular.0

Trendweight says I'm 176.4, my scale says 170.6. I'm also 5'9". My tape measure has me at 32.5" around my navel. I recently picked up size medium shirts and pants at Macy's0

Interesting I guess we are all built a little different. Keep the replies coming. I just got a set of 34in pants ands they are huge but I measured my waist and it was 35 in around.0

I am about 77kg and fit size small shirts.0

6'0, 165lbs, 32X34, Medium...32 waist solely from huge hips & quads (I can not wear jeans)
Lanky & Lean...pants & shirts are never too long!0 -
I was about 176 in 2010 (before i gained back some weight) - at the time I had just started switching from size 36 to size 34 pants. Now at 220-ish i seem to be getting back "down" to a size 38 from a size 40 earlier this year. In shirts, Just recently switched back to XL from XXL however when i was 176 I could fit into L shirts they didn't fit "great" (some too short, some tight around the neck)....0

I haven't been 176 since probably middle school. At 215, I wear a 34" waist and 40" inseam. I usually buy XXL t-shirts for the length.0

180 lbs I'm now a pant size 32 from a 38 at 225lbs a few months ago0

I'm at 186 right now and 5'10". I'm able to wear a medium top now and I'm wearing 34 waist jeans. I can get into a 32 waist pair of jeans, but they are just too snug now. By the time I get down to 170 (my UGW), I should be wearing 32 waist jeans.0

173lbs, 5'7", 33x30, Large t-shirt and button down.
I'm hardly an athletic or muscular body type - just sorta "average."
I can still grab about 1-1 1/2" roll of fat at my waist.0 -

180 here and i wear xxl mostly...but can fit a xl easily...i just like the comfort of xxl lol...0

Not a man, but my husband at 6' and about 176lbs wears medium t-shirts (large from old navy) and a 32-33" (depending on brand/style) waist in pants.
His dress shirts are another story... 17.5" neck, 34/35 sleeve and athletic/fitted/slim style, which all still fit him super loose due to the neck measurement.0 -
5'8", 160. Pants are 32, shirts are usually a small or medium, but I have a smallish frame.0

5'9 and 160
Shirts are either small or medium depending on the cut; 15" neck; 32/33 sleeve on dress shirts
Pants/shorts are 30x32/small or medium0 -
5'5" 174. Shirt size medium, 16" neck, pants 34". Started out at 225, XL Shirt, 18" neck, 40" pants.
It's funny, when I was growing up, as a short guy, I thought I was "built" when i was able to wear an XL shirt but weighing less than 150 lbs. My target is to get under 150, and I will be wearing a small or smaller. I guess in the 90s baggy was kind of the style.0 -
5'10", 173.4 Lbs (most recent)
Shirts
Dress Shirts:16.5 Neck, 34/35 Length
Tshirts: Large (usually)
Pants
29.125" Waist, but I wear 32x32 usually though because of my Legs/Glutes... struggle. Same thing with Jeans... usually oose fit with 32x32. Sometimes I need 32x34 in both Jeans and Dress and need them taken up, depending on the cut/style.0
