Seriously, how many of us go walk a mile or more while pulling a wagon? That's gotta burn some extra calories right? Especially when pulling it up hill. Just a thought after pulling that heavy thing (full of child and activities for her to do) for 2.5mi.

    I use a Heart Rate Monitor (chest strap version) for steady cardio exercise monitoring.
    I found out that shoveling snow around my house for 1 hour, burned 330 calories.
    Gardening was very small amount of calories :| .
    It all depends on the intensity and the effort involved

    You can create a custom exercise. Maybe use a HRM to get a ballpark figure of t he burn. Or use a Fitbit etc.

    I think I"ve actually seen exercises saying pushing pulling a load, or carrying a load up stairs. search for it it might be there, I wouldn't rely on the calories given by someone else though.

    I use a garmin vivosmart. No heart rate. Was just laughing about how much we burn as moms with all our extra lifting, going, carrying, etc.
