My friend is having a 30th birthday party in a couple of months, and it's fancy dress! No theme....can go as anything!

I want to do a "couples" thing with my boyfriend but am stuck for ideas.

We were going to go as Avatars but then decided the blue makeup would be a pain and we would need showers at 2 in the morning to wash it all off whilst drunk!!! Not good!!!

So we're thinking He-Man and She-Ra!!!

Any other ideas anyone? Want to be someone distinctive, so people know exactly who we are just by looking!

I'm sorry but I cannot think of any at the moment.
I am having similar trouble trying to find an outfit for a heros an villans day this weekend and hopefully some of the ideas here may help.

My default fancy dress is pirates as they are always cool!

Batman/Catwoman crossed my mind too, but I'm not sure if I can pull off an all in one PVC cat suit!! hahaha!

One of my friends had an awesome idea (but they're doing it so I can't steal it)...her boyfriends going in sheriff style clothing and she's going in a shark costume...so they're Sheriff Brody and Jaws!! haha!

Hmmm Woody and Jessie could be good...

I love the Tinkerbelle costumes but I bet I won't get my boyfriend to wear tights for Peter Pan haha!

I wanted to do Jessica and Roger Rabbit...that way I could look fairly normal in a long red dress and he'd had to go full on bunny rabbit haha xx

This past Halloween my boyfriend and I were Batman and Batgirl. I found a cute batgirl costume online that is a dress and not too short and cinched at the waste, very cute.
Also, my parents were Dog the Bounty hunter and his wife.

I got the batgirl outfit last Christmas for our boxing day night out! So I've done that already...love the outfit though :)

I still really wanna do the avatar thing, would be so cool with the makeup and getting yellow contact lenses etc...but just too impractical :( xx

I'm partial to Highlanders, and with your hair, you would be gorgeous as a bonny Scottish lassie. I had to wear a wig.

This was us a few years ago for Halloween.

For his kilt, I just hand-stitched fabric pleated in the back to a pair of shorts. Add

He enjoyed it so much, I ended up making him a more proper kilt that he's worn as a costume a few times, as well as for Celtic fests and a St Patty's parade.

I went as Amy Winehouse and it was a great costume every commented on it. You can get the wig and her fake stick on tattoos on ebay and then I simply work a pencil skirt, black bra and white vest top with gawdy thick gold jewlery & thick hoop earrings...

I've considered Flavor Flav (viking hat and clock) and Brigitte Nielson (but likely as Red Sonja).
