Hello all. I really need a motivation/accountability partner or group. I've lost my motivation and it's starting to show in my gut. I use to be somewhat of an athlete and I use to frequent the gym but for the last year that has been an extreme challenge for no reason other than laziness or some type of gym mental black. I need some motivation. Can someone join me or point me to a good group to get things started right? PLEAzZZZZe HELP!!!! I want to start my routine on Monday Nov 2nd.

I'm currently 37yrs old. I am 6'1. I don't look it but my weight is up to 250. I would like to get back down to an athletic 230. That's 20lbs over the next few months. Any suggestions.

I really get where you're coming from! I used to work out 6 days/ week often twice a day, did kickboxing, ran half marathons... Now I go for a run maybe once every other week and even that is an improvement on 6 months ago.

Add me if you like - I am also totally sick of where I've let myself sink to and have decided that as of this Monday (2nd) I'm back in the gym every day before work. Maybe we can motivate each other!

I can relate, lost weight last year then gained it back now have lost it again but now it's a total lifestyle change and overhaul really difficult but sticking to it! Also this app has helped a lot :) u can add me. I started in August cause I have a December goal. It's starting to get tough but it's also starting to show :)

What do you guys do to keep focused throughout the day? I work in an office that's always filled with snacks for the students in our classes. It's hard to fight the temptation.

The junk food brought to work is tough. The last one we had was homemade chocolate chip cookies. I prelogged two cookies as a snack into MFP the first day, plus the dinner I had decided to eat. I ate 3 cookies and was over goal. The next day I just ate two and stayed under my calorie goal but had to skip my orange or banana. At 1200 calories a day I don't have much wiggle room. If you're taller you should be able to eat a work treat here and there too. Just log it!!!!
