its been a month and a bit! Do you guys see the difference?

So I can sort of a difference in the picture of my face the first one of my face is the picture that made me want to change my lifestyle the second one is when i started and the third is a month from the second pic. The first picture of my stomach was from a month ago and the second one is today. Do you guys see a slight difference?

Replies

  • Can see a difference in your face. The stomach one is taken at completely different sides/angles so can't actually comment on it. Keep up the good work.

I can see a face shape difference. The angle on the stomach picture is misleading a bit.. But from the photo that you do show us, a slight difference. If your stomach area is where you retain most of your fat, then this will be the hardest place to loose it.. this is a problem area for a lot of women. Fot me it the stomach, but more of the lower glute and thigh area.

I am curious, exactly how long has this been and how weight did you loose in this time frame?

I get what you mean by the stomach photo. I'm not in my place with my full mirror . I started at 210lbs/15stone and as of last week I was 14stone 5.6lbs I've not weighed myself this week yet . So I don't know what I weigh.

I definitely see it in your face and your belly looks smaller too!
    Keep it up-you're doing great!

I do wonder what you see when you look in the mirror and why you constantly need external validation from strangers

That said, yet again to restate

If you want to see progress take the photos under exactly the same conditions, lighting, clothes, position from camera

Take front on relaxed, front on flexed
    Same for side view
    Same for back view

Progress pictures are an essential part of the process, in my opinion. Having said that, it is highly unlikely you'll see huge substantial differences after a month. You've posted pictures before asking if we notice changes and we re-iterated twice previously that you need to give this more time. A month later, you're back and asking for validation again! Please give yourself some time! The important thing about this is - you're sticking with it and you're feeling better.

I took my first photograph 6 months ago. Comparing this month's photograph with my 6 month old photograph, yes there are differences:

You see? This is me on the right after 6 months. Not a HUGE difference but you can see more definition and tone. My 1 month photo showed very small changes yet I was feeling a lot better health-wise.

I understand your enthusiasm for progress and I know how frustrating it can be - but hang in there and give yourself time. You'll only disappoint yourself if you try to rush this. Good luck.

It is a great progress shot pixie I agree

Is that why you head tilt? Is it consistency?

Nope! I just turn into a 'teapot' whenever I'm around a camera ;)
