I've been gaining. The numbers on the scale keep going up. I don't know how to eat healthy. I've tried recipes but if they taste bad I go back to my old ways. Idk what to do anymore. Help!!!!

Eat what you normally eat but eat less

Fill in here your stats and start weighing and logging all your food.
    It really works!

    good luck :)

When you say "tried to eat healthy" what does that mean? It doesn't have to be all kale and tofu if that's not your thing. What kind of foods do you like?

I'm also curious as to what you've been eating. I've lost 50 lbs so far this year (a little more than a pound a week average). I still eat things like pizza, burgers, etc. Just make sure to accurately log your calories. If you are gaining weight you are eating more than you burn.

Feel free to add me as a friend if you like. Or my diary is open, take a look for some ideas on what works for me. I know I could do this if I was depriving myself.

Try cooking the foods you love but modify the ingredients to make the dishes more healthy.Example: oven fried chicken, same exact seasonings but baked in the oven for a lot less fat.Control eating out because it is difficult to know what is in restaurant food and the temptation to eat too much is very strong .Perhaps you can get the assistance of a group like weight watchers. Weight watchers seems to be one of the most cost effective because you can cook your own food or buy their food when you need a break or when you are too rushed to cook. Also they have weekly meetings that help you stay on course or get back on course when you fall off. They even have coaches you can chat with on line if you are having difficulty. Insure you are logging your food and your exercise each day this keeps it real and you can reflect back on a successful day if you start to struggle. This has been the one thing that has always worked for me.
