So i downloaded the app so that i could start this program and maybe start running
But just curious, the app says "week 1 day 1" and "week 1 day 2" and then day 3 and then it moves on to week 2 for another 3 days, so do i just follow that kind of schedule? or should i be doing the training every day for a week before moving on to week 2?

You do it 3 non-consecutive days a week. Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Monday/Thursday/Saturday or some other iteration of the run/skip pattern.0

Yes, it is set up so you do three workouts a week. As the program goes on you'll see different days in the week have different workouts, which is why it specifies what day it is (to differentiate them). Especially if you're just getting into running I would advise against doing more than the three days/week that the program suggests.0

Also Remember GO AT YOUR OWN PACE!!!!! If you are not ready to move on to the next weeks workouts, then dont. Its ok to repeat the previous week until you feel ready to move on. MANY runners sometimes take up to 18 weeks to complete this. They will do Week 1 workouts for two weeks before moving on to Week 2 workouts and so on.0

3 times per week, take a rest day in between. Rest day could of course mean some other form of exercise.0

YES! I repeated every week at least once.0 -
definitely just do as scheduled 3x (or less if needed) per week. many beginners, myself included, start too fast and too hard and this can lead to injury and/or burn out.
take your time. run as slow as you need. most people are not running 5k when they finish the c25k.
and there is a c25k group here0 -
I couldn't move on to week 2 until I felt SOLID at week 1, which I repeated twice. I always rest one day between runs so now Im following their schedule but do what works for you.0

Im currently in week 7. I repeated each workout 3 times...successfully...before moving to next workout. In the beginning, it some times took me 3 weeks to complete one week of workouts. Now Im ahead of "schedule". You will surprise urself, promise, how well you will do with this if you just stay POSITIVE and FOCUSED. Add me as a friend if you would like.0
