Eggs, cottage cheese, beans...today I had over 40g of protein between two eggs and a serving of cottage cheese at breakfast and a black bean and sweet potato burrito for lunch.

I've never heard of a sweet potato burrito. It sounds really good. What recipe do you use?

We make a huge batch and freeze the individual burritos once they cool off. They work out to about 320 calories per burrito.

Lentils! I make a salad and top it with 1/2 cup brown lentils, 1/4 cup goat or blue cheese, 1/2 ounce of chopped hazelnuts (sometimes less), and sometimes a dash of balsamic vinaigrette. I also make chili using lentils and Cincinnati chili seasoning. The cinnamon pairs well with the lentils.

If you can eat gluten, try the flavored seitan. I get chipotle flavored seitan and make tacos or enchiladas. The BBQ flavored variety is okay; I like it best over a sweet potato.

Thanks for the tips! @thekatiest I didn't realize lentils had that much protein. How do you flavor them to put on a salad?

I'm lacto ovo and shoot for 100g of protein a day. Feel free to add me so you can see my diary. I eat a lot of eggs, cheese, protein shakes, yogurt, nuts, & beans.

Eggs :D Cut down on the egg yolks though-have a whole egg but then add additional egg whites. I use Egg Beater 100% Whites with my whole eggs-less cholesterol and less calories. I eat almonds, soy yogurt and a protein supplement called Spirutein. I don't eat too many beans because I get a lot of gas. Also I have products with dairy in them such as ice cream or cookies (junk), but I don't drink milk or eat whole milk yogurt because it hurts my stomach. Good luck!
