feeling very proud of myself right now! I am a respiratory therapist and it is currently respiratory care week. As a way to say thank you the hospital has had lots of sweets and snacks for us. Two nights in a row I refrained from eating cake and brownies and other goodies and instead chose my yogurt. I'm really hoping to continue on my journey of living healthier :)

Good for you! What would be really great is if the standard of "rewarding" and "thanking" people with food would stop. There are LOTS of other things they could give you or do. I think this is a trend that is long overdue for change, but unfortunately I don't see it happening.

So, you did the right thing: planned ahead and stuck to it. Excellent!

Thanks guys! And to boot i work overnights so it was 3 am. That much sugar would have put me in a coma.
