Doing what you couldn't have done before.

Hey there
Look at my picture.
I'm not super fit. At all.
And I'm not even sure I want to be. But I'm heading that direction and seeing what fits... Maybe I will get there. But I do want to be better than I am now. I want to look back in 6 months and see positive changes.

These past few weeks I've been getting up at 5am to go bike riding. Just around where I live, short rides of 30-40mins. Relatively flat ground.
This morning I decided to push myself.
Ride from my home into the city and back again. On the freeways that is about 20km each way. On the bike paths and back streets probably add another couple kms at a guess.
Goal was simply to get there and back home.
I made it!
So happy with myself for getting out there and doing something I couldn't have done a year ago... Maybe even 3 months ago.
There are some big hills in that route too... And going down is a lot shorter than getting up the top
