I'm 5"4 19 years old and I weight about 289 lbs I want to lose weight slowly ...what should my caloirie intake everyday bve around?

    Set this app to lose 1-2 lbs per week. With your stats you can choose 2 pounds. Be honest about your activity level, log your exercise and eat half of the calories allotted back (the app over estimates calories burned).

    Exactly, plug your stats into MFP. I'd suggest starting off slow, get a feel for it. If you want to lose more adjust your goal on MFP and it will adjust your calorie intake for you.

    I tried losing weight time and time again but what really worked for me was buying a scale to measure my solids. It's super important you know exactly what's going into your body. I was shocked at how much I was actually eating vs. how much I thought I was eating.
