Yes - eating less is the only way. Low carb is the best and easiest, as your hunger will be much lower. :)

Unfortunately, you can't spot reduce. I'm at a very healthy weight but I still have a 'flabby stomach'. A calorie deficit is of course the first step - however once you've reached your 'ideal weight' and you still have fat to lose off your stomach, losing more pounds isn't necessarily the answer. You'll then need to look into a good strength training programme - lift heavy and eat at maintenance :)

I'm currently having this problem. Anymore advice on that? I'm almost down to my goal weight and this belly is still here! Do I keep doing cardio while lifting heavy and eating at maintenance? A lot of ab strengthening I'm assuming?

You cannot zap fat from any specific area. Wouldn't it be nice, though? Like, fill out a form, check some boxes...pick the place you'd like to lose your next five pounds. :)

You can do AB exercises to get the muscles in shape, but that won't get rid of the fat. All you can do is keep losing and wait for it to come off your belly.

Keep losing weight. It has to go eventually, when you lose enough.

I'm at a healthy weight but still have a lot of stomach fat. I think I'm going to have to be at the lower end of healthy weight for it to go. I have also started lifting to help my overall shape.

What helps me believe it or not is walking. I walk 6-7 miles over the course of the day and am starting to see some ab definition after a couple of weeks. I do Leslie Sansone's Walk Away The Pounds.
