Glasses sliding off

When I run, kickbox, and Zumba, my glasses are always sliding down my nose. Does anyone know of any products out there that would hold them in place? Contacts are not an option and neither is wearing nothing, at all. I'm blind as a bat!

Google "sports glasses strap".0

They make elastic "sport straps" for glasses. You should be able to find them at any sporting goods store.0

I've seen those. I was hoping for something a little more low profile and maybe a specific product recommendation.
Although from the googling I've done, it looks like that may be all there is out there.0 -
I've used those strings they sell that attach to the earpieces and then wrap around your head.
Still, the best thing I found was to get a pair of glasses with nosepads. The plastic frames with integrated nosepieces slid way more than the ones I have now with nosepads that stick out and have that silicone-type material.0 -

That's interesting. I've had glasses since I was 9 years old, but I've always had plastic frames. Maybe it's time to convert.0 -
Do you have an older pair of glasses? Maybe one with the prescription you had right before the one you have now? I use an older pair of glasses that have the ends turned down to a near 90 degree angle rather than 45 degrees like my normal glasses.0

Sunglass Hut sells thinner eyeglass straps that are less noticeable.sunglasshut.com/us/721941100450#BVRRQuickTakeSectionID0

There was a product on shark tank I think that was for that. Some type of wax0

I have the same problem whenever I run out of contacts and forget to reorder. I end up having to skip the gym. Does the strap really work? I take kickboxing as well and the warms ups require a lot of jumping, pushups, etc. Will they stay on for all of that ?0

I would think a good quality strap would work for high impact cardio, I just hate the look of them. I don't need any extra help looking like a doofus in Zumba lol.0 -

Haha yea I was just thinking I've never seen anyone in my class wearing them. Just checked out nerdwax that is such a good idea and I like that it's natural. Might give it a try as well.0 -

I look like a drunk orangutan doing Zumba. I can take my glasses off, but I would probably wear the strap if I couldn't see LOL0 -

Yup, last resort, though! Hopefully Nerdwax will do the trick. It almost seems too good to be true!0 -
If the nerdwax doesn't do the trick, pop in to a glasses store and ask them to adjust for you. Possibly the bend or something isn't right. (I feel my glasses are too expensive to want to do this myself.)0

Yes, I used to have plastic glasses years ago, but wouldn't go back, unless it was for a pair of glasses I'm just going to wear occasionally.
Smaller, lighter glasses also help. I'm blind as a bat without mine, and mine would be really quite heavy if they were large, which would cause them to slide more, so I go with the ultra-thin lenses and a smallish frame.

I've found an easier/ cheaper way to prevent sliding. I use rubber/ elastic bands to wrap around the ends of the glasses arms after I wear them. The rubber type of bands work better, but I think anything that can create a "bulk" at the ends would work just fine. I have lower nose ridge & this method works well for me during Zumba and BodyCombat.0

Smart idea. I could see that working. Going to try as well0 -

This is what I was going to suggest. My eye doctor always tells me to go see him to get my glasses adjusted if they start sliding dow my nose. It's free and quick and he's always happy to do so for me. I really stretched out my glasses by frequently falling asleep in them so when I got my new pair I kept my old ones to use for around the house and only wear my newer pair when I go out. I've had the newer pair since June and they still fit snugly.0 -

I went and bought a $30 pair of prescription sport goggles from an online store to use for martial arts. My doofus rating is through the roof, but they stay on when I roll.0 -
If I haven't got a pair of contacts on the go I wear a headband to the gym and sort of tuck the ends of the glasses arms under that and it holds them on reasonably well.
But as a person with a sweaty head, small nose and horrific myopia, I feel your pain about wearing glasses to exercise.0
