happy: I'm a 35 year old LDS mom to three young kids. Trying to lose 25-30 pounds and finally learn how to maintain the loss. I just joined MFP a few days ago and have a goal to log all my food and exercise for 100 days.
I'd love to find other LDS moms (or any women really - you don't have to be a mom) out there that want to be weight loss buddies. I thought it might be nice to have others to chat about that have a similar background, share those stories about potluck dessert temptations, share ideas for healthy dinners that are kid friendly, resisting those snacks while serving in the nursery, etc.
If you are interested, post here or send me a friend request. Thanks!

I'm LDS too:) I'm 22 years old and have a little boy! I've been on MFP since February and have been "dieting" since January. Feel free to add me!0

I'm LDS, too! I'm not a mom, though. I'm 21 and hoping to shed some pounds before leaving on my mission.0

Hi bigmamma3! I'm sorry I didn't give more info on that for those that are curious. It stands for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (sometime referred to as the Mormons, more info here: http://lds.org). It's the church I belong to and since it's worldwide, it's nice to connect with other members that share similar beliefs. Hope that helps :0).
If you are interested in being a weight loss buddy anyway though, feel free to send me a friend request. I'm not looking to collect hoards of friends but I would love to have a few supportive friends on here that share similar interests, whether that's being LDS, or being a woman or mom, etc. That makes it easier for me to remember more specifics about people so I can encourage them, too.0 -
I'm LDS I'm 27 with 3 girls Ebby just turned 1, Beth is 3 and Hannah is 4 . I just joined mfp this week so still getting my head round it. Having a nightmare at the moment coming up with ideas for dessert for tonight as the missionaries are coming and don't want to blow the diet to much0

It's so nice to "meet" each of you and hopefully we can motivate and encourage each other and stick with this. Also, if anyone is interested my sister Nikkiairforcewife just joined (and she's LDS, too). Send her a message and add her as a friend - I'm sure she'd love it and needs new MFP friends!0

Hi ladies! I'm LDS and just had my 4th little sweetheart and could use some help in the weight loss arena! Like someone else to say no thanks to the cookies that are at every RS meeting and the FHE treats...OH the treats, mmm. Also, how do you fit in exercise and scriptures...seems like I can do one or the other, but never both! Where, oh where did the personal time go Anyway, I'd love to give and get support from women with similar struggles (or solutions:). Feel free to add me as a friend!!
