I recently watched (UK based) My Big Fat Diet Show and I call BS on dress/pant size loss

I enjoyed the show, but she tried to say they each lost a dress size. Some of the 7 women dieting on this 1,200 calorie diet only lost 5lbs in 2 weeks and she claimed they each lost a dress size...from what I saw of them it seemed very unlikely. For me, a dress/pant size is usually 10-15lbs. What is it for you? Any idea?

It's possible it was exaggerated for sure.

I can lose a pant or dress size in 5 lbs, now. Up above a healthy weight range it might take me 10 lbs though.

They were all a bit chunky. Definitely bigger than you. Well, the star wasn't, but multiple of them were probably around a U.S. 14 or maybe 12 for some. It definitely took me more than 5lbs to lose a size. lol.
